Our Process
Our goal as a family is to provide you and your family with as healthy and happy a puppy as possible. To ensure this we follow a strict vaccination and deworming schedule, have health tested parents, and puppies are backed by our one year health guarantee, providing you with the confidence of quality and the assurance of a healthy puppy you deserve.
OUR PROCESS:
To reserve a puppy we require a $300 non-refundable deposit. (Remaining balance is due at time of pick-up) The deposit stands for your place in line, as we honor puppy placements in order of deposits received.
Around 2-3 weeks of age, we place identifying collars on puppies and take individual pictures. We update with videos once puppies become mobile and active. Families can then begin comparing and deciding on what puppy they would like. We evaluate the puppies during their entire time with us as they grow under our close supervision. We watch social interactions, confidence, attitude, and personalities. We can work together to decide on which puppy would best fit your family. We schedule FaceTimes once puppies are 6 weeks old.
We are a small family owned and operated breeder. This allows us to provide the personal attention each puppy and puppy buyer deserves in this process. Puppies from our litters are born and raised at our home and are well socialized at the time they go home with you at 8 weeks old. Puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks, and receive their first round of vaccinations at 6 weeks old.
Puppies are ready for homes at 8 weeks old. I usually set aside a few days for pick up to accommodate schedules.
Extended Puppy Boarding
We understand that sometimes schedules do not line up perfectly with your puppy’s go-home date. If your puppy needs to remain with us beyond 8 weeks of age, we are happy to provide extended care when arranged in advance.
Boarding Rate: $25 per day
Grace Period: Up to 5 days after the puppy’s scheduled 8-week go-home date
During their extended stay, your puppy will continue receiving daily care, feeding, cleaning, socialization, playtime, and routine attention.
If your puppy remains with us long enough to require an additional scheduled vaccination, there will be a $25 vaccine charge.
Extended boarding must be arranged ahead of time and is subject to availability.
Our Golden Retrievers come from AKC-registered parents. While we have always registered each litter with the AKC, we’ve found that most families do not require registration for their needs and therefore do not register their puppy.
To simplify the process and keep costs focused on the highest quality care for our dogs and puppies, we will no longer automatically register our litters. If you require AKC registration for a specific purpose— such as AKC's Canine Good Citizen, show participation, or official records—we are happy to provide registration upon request. Please let us know at the time of reservation so we can arrange it for you.
